Many are daunted by the prospect of moving accounting, even if it is in their best interests. It can feel like a monumental effort and potentially an expensive option, especially if your business has a complicated setup. 

Cloud accounting software makes this process much easier today, and often only requires a change of access to the new accountant. However, even where a transfer of data is required, there are now apps that do the bulk of the transfer from one software to another. Of course, there will be some adjustments whilst the new accountant gets familiar with the business, however this should not prevent a move if you are unhappy with your current setup.
